Born and raised in New York, I’ve always been an artist.
For 15+ years my career has been filled with creative adventures. I’ve held my own at web agencies, collected national awards for my designs with leading brands, ventured out as a freelancer, published cartoons and children’s books, and for seven years in between all that, I taught middle school art.
Some of my favorite projects began just for the fun of it. Like when I designed the invitations and décor for my wedding, which led to my Etsy store. Or when my grandmother and I began blogging together, and tuned her into an Internet Rock Star.
I’m a graduate of LaGuardia HS of Music & Art, Alfred University School of Art & Design, and Lesley University School of Graduate Studies. I’ve studied writing with Linda Barry, art licensing with Lilla Rogers, and comedy at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade.
When I was a kid, my mom asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up. My answer then was the same as it is today.
I told her, “I want to make beautiful things.”
I am available for illustration and design opportunities and collaborations. I’d love to hear from you.
I am also seeking agent representation in the markets of: editorial, books, advertising, gift ware, home decor and stationery.
